5/25/25 Acts 17:22-34a “Keep It Simple” This is one Sunday of the year when we remember those who have gone home to heaven. We honor our veterans on this day which is a good thing. However, we can honor all of our loved ones as well....
5/18/25 John 14:1-7 “Well Done My Faithful Servant!” I think that the only way this spring could have been better is if we had had a little more rain or maybe if it wasn’t so cold or maybe if we didn’t have so many problems or...
5/11/25 2 Tim. 3:10-17 “Open the Floodgates!” I think that just being a preacher, let alone a pastor, is a very challenging position. A preacher’s job is to take the Scripture message and turn it into a message for today. This seems pretty easy on the...
May 4, 2025 Luke 24:13-35 “Are Your Eyes Open or Closed?” I know that we do things that we might not normally do when we act on the spur of the moment. Here is a case in point. At times I think that we all judge...

4/20/25-Easter John 20:1-18 “Go and Tell Everyone!” Once again, I would like to wish everyone a very happy Easter. It is hard for me to believe that we have been pastoring for19 years. This is our 19th Easter as a pastor. Time sure flies. I also...
4/6/25 1 Peter 4:7-11 “Don’t Leave Your Gift Under the Tree!” I remember very clearly when I took the psychological test for being a pastor. They told me that I really didn’t have what it takes. For one thing, I would try to let someone else...
April 13, 2025 Matt. 16:13-19 “Who Do You Say Jesus Is?” I think that it is fairly easy for us to get caught up in our society. As a senior citizen, I get calls every day from people trying to separate my money from me. Everything...
3/30/25 Genesis 25:19-34 “I’d Rather Have Jesus!” Have you ever had one of those weeks where things just seemed to crumble in on you? I have had a few of them. I remember once due to unforeseen circumstances on my part I had to come up...
3/23/25 Eph. 6:13-15, 1 Cor. 12:7-11 “Our Gifts Are Armored!” Sometimes I’m in absolute awe as to how the world is put together by our wonderful Lord. I think that if we go back far enough in our ancestry, we are all connected somehow. Here is...
